Osteopathy

Osteopathy, recognized by the British Medical Association as a clinical discipline, is a system of manipulative therapy that focuses on structural and mechanical problems within the body. Osteopaths treat pain and other symptoms caused by stress and tension, to restore everyday health and vitality.

Following an initial diagnosis, the practitioner will provide you with a suitable plan of treatment, which involves the skillful manipulation of bones, muscles, ligaments, joints and sometimes, even organs. Osteopaths can provide pain relief, stimulate your body's natural healing powers and enhance your quality of life.

Treatments offered at the clinic include conventional structural osteopathy as well as the more gentle cranial and visceral approaches, which are particularly suitable for children, pregnant women and the elderly. Our osteopaths can also advise on posture, exercise routines, ergonomics and lifestyle changes to build on the positive effects of regular osteopathic treatment.
